Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our expanding independent veterinary practice in the heart of the Midlands.

Park House Vets are looking for a caring and compassionate nurse to join our happy practice. We have a team of experienced vets including advanced practitioners, who are supported by our Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants and Receptionists.

The practice is forward thinking, progressive and has excellent facilities to support our varied case load. We pride ourselves on outstanding client and patient care, as well as offering our own on-site out of hours service.

You would be required to work in our well-structured rota, with 1:9 weekends on call. In return we can offer you a good salary commensurate with your experience, support and fund your CPD in addition to staff discount, pension schemes and an employee assistance scheme.

Qualified Veterinary Care Assistant

Motivated and friendly qualified VCA wanted to join our expanding independent practice in Stafford. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, capable of working independently and possess excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities will include care of medical and surgical patients, cleaning, reception duties and assisting the clinical team as required.

The role is full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week worked between 7.45am and 8.00pm – Monday to Friday, and will include some weekend work. Applicants must hold a Level 2 qualification in Veterinary Care or Veterinary Nursing and certificates will be required at interview. Previous employment in a veterinary practice is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
